Ballislife’s lead designer, Andy Fomai shares some insights behind the designs of our Spring 2021 collection. 

 “I made sure to offer a range of minimal to loud graphics” says Andy Fomai, “I do this to serve different audiences and age groups”. 

All our graphic tees, hoodies and joggers are designed and printed in Southern California. Colors are custom and hand-mixed by our team. Each graphic has its own individual color offering with color patterns specific to the Spring season. 

 

Tribute Tee

This graphic tee has an organic/positive design with a nostalgic vibe: BALL IS LIFE is the message. This t-shirt is available in two colorways: black and white.

Hack Tee

 This t-shirt pays homage to Ballislife video cassette days. Some of you may be too young to grasp what it means, but you can still represent Ballislife and appreciate this retro design.

Kaboom Tee

 An explosive dunk designed with a comic book lens. Available in two colorways: turquoise and black.  Andy Fomai leveraged customer feedback  and  “remixed” a popular design that originated with the Champ Tee and later evolved into the Strongside Tee in the FW20 collection.

Andy has been in the streetwear industry for 10+ years. Andy has owned/designed clothing brands that were previously sold in retailers like Tillys and Jimmy Jazz. In addition to his own brands, Andy has worked closely with Billboard charting artists on their own clothing merch. These artists include Tyga, Juice Wrld, Lil Baby, Trippie Redd and NBA Youngboy. Andy has been with Ballislife for 3 Years and is excited to leave his mark in the basketball community.
