IRVINE, California, April 22, 2021 — Ballislife, the number one basketball focused sports media brand in the world, is switching to sustainable packaging for its line of apparel and merchandise.
The environmentally-friendly packaging materials are 100% recycled, recyclable and manufactured in the USA. The transition positively impacts both the clear protective bags used for individual items such as t-shirts, hoodies and basketball shorts, and the poly mailers used to ship orders to Ballislife customers.
The new packaging solutions are also reusable. Thanks to a self-sealing and resealable adhesive strip, clear bags can be reused, creating added flexibility for Ballislife’s in-house production team. On the customer side, the poly mailers feature a dual adhesive strip making it easy to reuse mailers for returns.
“As the consumer trends to making more purchases online we as a seller have to do our part in being more environmentally conscious” said Matt Rodriguez, Co-Founder and President of Ballislife. “The new clear poly bags and mailers were tested with our in house production/fulfillment team. When I heard that it made their job more efficient while being 100% recyclable I had nothing really to say other than lets buy more. We already do our part to use eco friendly inks and cleaning products for the screen print production process. Now we can couple that with the packaging process so it’s a win win.”
Ballislife’s transition to sustainable packaging represents a major step towards the company’s commitment to responsible business practices.
